Paul was a forthright man, a maker of instant friends and/or enemies. There was nothing tentative about him. If he felt that you were not getting it, not following his argument, he would continue with his exposition until you understood the point he was making and agreed with him. No wonder God had to knock him off his horse with a blast of light and blind him. How else to get his attention? He underwent an absolute, instantaneous conversion and very soon the whole known world was learning about his mission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
