Jesus toured all the towns and villages ...
Father, Jesus did so much good for people. Sometimes I get irked at those I know who have done good. Perhaps they arouse in me feelings of guilt, or a false sense of pride—‘I’m all right where I am. I do my bit.’ Perhaps it’s my lack of generosity showing itself.
Father, I look at your Son, Jesus, and see his love and compassion for all those around him. I also see his generosity, helping in so many ways those who are in need. And his care is not just a temporary thing—it continues today. Jesus grants us, his children, the privilege to heal and help others.
Father, send the Spirit to fill me with a desire to do the work you wish me to do, and a joy that radiates your loving presence around me.
